Can you explain the compliance of your glass units with industry standard safety standards?

Our insulated glass units are stamped to indicate that they are tempered glass, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. The safety stamp is applied using durable methods and cannot be removed. Per International Building Code, the stamp shall be acid etched, sand blasted, ceramic fired, laser etched, embossed, or of a type that, once applied, cannot be removed without being destroyed. These glass units are labeled as "Safety Tempered" and marked as certified meeting the requirements of ANSI Z97.1. Additionally, as it relates to the glass units utilized, the glass manufacturer is a current licensee and has met all guidelines for the SGCC® certification program, and their products are produced in compliance with ANSI Z97.1-2015 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 standards.
